Founded in Balıkesir in 1977 with the partnership of the workers serving abroad and named after the Labor Union, ISBIR Elektrik Sanayi A.Ş. started the production of Synchronized Alternators and Diesel Generator Set of respectively 10 kVA and 2000 kVA in 1981. It is one of the 6 affiliated companies of The Turkish Armed Forces Foundation, which holds 99.93% of its capital stock. Located on an area of approximately 30,000 m², ISBIR continues to operate in the facilities covering an indoors space of 8300 m². Today, ISBIR has gained momentum in its customer oriented services thanks to its accomplished executives, modern R&D department, experienced technical staff and highly motivated employees as well as the support of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation and the inspiration of its customers. Accomplishing large-scale and outstanding projects both across the country and abroad as an outcome of these activities, ISBIR has developed and delivered successful projects in Qatar, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Albania and many other countries. Occupying an important place in our Defense Industry since its foundation, ISBIR has also opened up to the public and private sector to offer its quality and experience.
